First -- Church. It was a really good explanation of how the book of John purposes to show Jesus Christ as 100% God and 100% man. It's very different from the synoptic gospels because of this.
Then Joe and Melissa came over for lunch and we had a good time planning what we want to do for our summer vacation. We have a plan, now to begin on the logistics.
Then back to church for a Bible study. We are working on making sure our explanations of biblical truths follow sound logical reasoning instead of circular or unfounded arguments. It's quite fascinating.
After that Joe and Melissa showed us around the things they've been working on around their house--trimming bushes, painting, organizing. And giving Bryan a list of more Fix-It projects LOL
Next, date night with my honey and all you can eat fish (sigh) plus cole slaw and hush puppies. We talked until they closed and we were the last ones in there.
Last but not least, a quick trip to grab long overdue work boots.
Home again--clean out the car, put everything away, start laundry, shower, comfy clothes. Now relaxing and reflecting.
Very satisfied with life.
