Another coupon came in the mail from Kohl's for $10 off a $10 purchase. These are my favorite deals. Usually I run in and find the first garment I can that is as close to $10 without being under as possible whether I think I will wear the garment or not. Then I go back later when I have mentally prepared myself and exchange it for something that is really useful. I hate to shop and Kohl's is one of my least favorite places for actual shopping but the deals are amazing.
This sale was quite timely because several of my everyday pairs of shoes have worn out to the point where the least little bit of wetness outside causes my feet to be wet and therefore to be cold. I've been having more and more trouble as the time has gone by with the neuropathy in my feet keeping my feet from staying warm. So I had already been planning on buying a new pair of shoes or two.
So this tine that's the first thing I want to go for even though I know I'll have to dig through the clearance rows of shoes. They are always a huge mess -- boxes ripped, wrong lids, stickers not matching, too many to fit nicely on the shelves.
It's a trifecta: one -- they have to fit, two -- I have to be able to afford them (that's where the coupons help a lot), three -- they have to fit my obscure and conservative sense of style LOL
