I feel as if I have been caught in a whirlwind for the past many weeks, with so many things happening that I haven't been able to keep up with life! Many things did not pan out as I had expected, which is not surprising.
The apologetics class was set to finish at the end of March but has extended due to scheduling conflicts and also due to intense interest. I am still fascinated with the topic and excited about what we are learning, but it is hard to keep up with it when other things are going on at the same time.
Before I realized this would happen, I had scheduled and promoted the finance class that had been slated to happen. When I realized they would overlap, I thought it would not be a big deal since I have taught the finance class several times before and my handouts are already prepared as well as the fact that half of the class is watching a video.
Then another monkey wrench hit the mix. Back in February, I had been asked to teach on Wednesday nights again but had said that I couldn't take on any more responsibilities until after the women's conference was over, so they put me on for the month of April. The material was so well received that it took longer to get through it and interest was strong in finishing it even though my timeframe was past. So the following teacher was pushed back a week so I could continue.
Now I have been attending a class on Sundays, facilitating one on Tuesdays, and teaching one on Wednesdays! This is in addition to twice a month 4-H meetings, once a month Junior Church, and tutoring twice a week, county secretary reports, and trainings for the election.
It's a little too much! Thankfully, it won't last much longer, and I'll be able to take back up the things I have had to leave neglected in my life!
