I had a lovely day today. Although busy (and started way too early! ) it was very satisfying.
Started out at 6am, had good conversations with my charges. Heading home, saw a deer--near city limits, which is probably why it was out in the middle of the day. Snuck in a nap, then taught algebra to a bright, interesting, motivated ninth grader. Hurried home for quick lunch and a few minutes with Bryan.
Next, off to meet the school kids at dismissal. Had a mini lesson with some of the members that can't make it to 4-H today. Then on to the meeting. Decent attendance so there was good interraction. Reviewed first aid situations and made a plan to update our kit. Made little first aid booklets. Very fun.
On to finance class. One of my favorite lessons--budgeting. The eagerness to adapt new attitudes and methods is so encouraging! It will change lives when applied!
As I said, very satisfying day! Amazing if I could do like this every day.
