So, when I got up yesterday, my foot was a bit swollen. This didn't alarm me because that happens occasionally. What did alarm me is that the whole top was also red and hot to the touch! I
I had to work with a client beginning 7 am this morning, so as soon as I made sure my doctor could fit me in, I let them know I needed off for that. He prescribed an antibiotic which I began immediately. Then later in the evening when I was elevating my foot as instructed, my client noticed I actually had a sore on the bottom of my foot! How neither I nor the doctor caught that is ridiculous.
I went to show Bryan on his break because I cannot see the bottom of my foot very well. He kind of freaked out, which is exactly what I had been doing! and said it needed cleaned out immediately. He couldn't at work, so I had to go to Melissa's. Eva was fine riding along, but she didn't like sitting alone in the car while we dressed it. Joe kept her company though, and it didn't take long. Now I have to go back to the doctor tomorrow and yell at him for missing this! And he better not try to charge me.
Oh, yeah, today was also the total solar eclipse.
