Car Woes

Wow, 4 cars and none running right! This weather is really giving things a beating. :/

1. Bryan work car : no heat, had a tire with a slow leak, was asked to park in the unpaved lot so snow could be plowed in the main lot, frozen ruts popped it off the rim! Had to wait half an hour before car was warm enough to open frozen hatch to get to spare and jack, brought tire into the kitchen so it could warm up enough to reseal it, ran with no spare until fixed, then used good tire as the spare for several more days until conveniently warm to switch them. Tried every part in heater fan system over a period of 3 weeks, finally installed a hotwired toggle switch--so heat is restored.

2. My work car: gas gauge quit working so I write down mileage every time I get gas, how many gallons I put in, and how many miles I have driven (would be simpler if I once bit the bullet and paid to fill it up ). Then the night Bryan had the flat, I couldn't go help him because it wouldn't start, and it was blocking in 2 vehicles. Ended up having J & M help us push it into the yard so I could drive my backup car.

3. Bryan backup (hunting) car : began driving it while no heat in work car, gas line began leaking, when as extremely cold as it has been dipping to, it doesn't leak, so when it warms up he switches back to the no heat car. This is the last in the list to fix.
