Tuesday, we all drove to Cuyahoga Falls to look at a Jeep Compass Melissa found for sale. It has very low mileage and is a great price. We wanted to make a fun day of it and do something over there while we were near even just go out to eat. Unfortunately the only time we were available when they were open was Christmas Eve and of course we wanted to go to the candlelight service so we didn't have time for anything extra.
We took it for a test drive. Everyone really liked the style and features on the car. But when Joe was behind the wheel, he could not see out of the windshield properly. It would not let him sit down far enough to keep the roofline out of his field of vision.
Really it was an unsafe car for him to drive. So that eliminated all of that model, and most of the research Melissa had done.
When we got back from the test drive, we started looking through their inventory to see what else they had in the next model up. Unfortunately the next model is the Cherokee and it's tremendously more expensive. On their four lots they had two or three and only one had decently low mileage and was in the year range they were looking at.
It that just come into their possession and had not been detailed or inspected or anything yet. We did get to look at it and it was a bit of a mess and not able to be test driven. So we will have to wait to hear from them to go look at it again. Unfortunately they say it will take a week or so because of the holidays.
