Continuation of Operation Grandbaby

So we took time off the reno in the bathroom to do some other much-needed tasks.

Last week Joe and Melissa's neighbor happened to be available and they pulled down that dead tree in the backyard. For several days now, it's been covering the entire yard in the back making it impossible to mow and being a hazard for the adoption safety inspection. So we went over there yesterday with our chainsaw and helped to cut up and stack the whole tree and burn up all the scraggly pieces that would not be good for bonfires.

There's a trumpet vine and a Wisteria that are taking over that side of the yard. We had to fight to pull some branches away. That will need cleared up ton ton more but today we made a start.

Also a couple weeks ago they dug out the pond fountain feature they had in their backyard. It left a big huge hole--also a safety hazard. So I helped dig off the top to fill in the bottom. There were a bunch of bushes that were planted around the feature that we had to dig out by the roots and get rid of. We also dug out and carried away about 50 rocks and made a pile at the side of the yard for possible future use.
