Now we have 2 working lights AND an exhaust fan!! 🥰🎉🤩🎈😍🥳💕🎊💃

Monday, we rested. I did get the mini blinds washed and looked for a better template to cut the plumbing holes into the tub and surround. The one Joe made is better than anything else I could find.
Tuesday Bryan finished laying the insulation and nailing it in. I was supposed to help hin but we ordered Mexican because Cinco de Mayo and the pickup line was over an hour long. I didn't know the line would take so long to move! But the food was delicious 😋 and Bryan deserved it after crawling around on those studs up there by himself. Too bad he only tolerates Mexican--he much prefers Italian or Chinese!
Wednesday we started on the ceiling drywall. We discussed all over again for another half hour trying to decide the best way plan it out. It's too wide and too long for standard placement and the joists are not standard spacing either. We were trying to get the most out of each sheet of drywall and have as few seams as possible.

It was incredible how heavy that drywall is and how difficult to hold it over your head. It had to be straight and still and one of us had to be running the drill. We only got one sheet in today but we're part way up the learning curve and we can't really expect more of ourselves when we mostly only have an hour or two at a time after work.
