Worked the election yesterday as a presiding judge at the polls. It starts at 5:30 am and you aren't done until the last person in line when the polls close has voted and you reconcile all ballots&machines and deliver all supplies to the board of elections. We had no line and no hold ups on the paperwork, plus the precinct I work is only a few blocks from the boe, so we were done a little after 8:00 pm. People who work in remote parts of the county could have an hour round trip to turn in supplies.
I'm going to get a nap before Bryan gets home and then watch some of the results while we eat dinner.
