So less than 24 hours after Kevin and Melissa signed papers on their new house, this tree falls on their property! It damaged the roof, chimney, gutters, windows, and siding. As if there wasn't already enough to do with packing and moving, now this all has to be cleaned up and all the insurance craziness to wallow through. On the plus side, there should be plenty of firewood. Their neighbor's property suffered much more damage than theirs. It completely demolished his garage and fence and did significant damage to his house--possibly even structurally.
Never a dull moment in life!
