These last two days have been Non-Stop so much that my head is spinning! Thank goodness I cooked so much over the weekend that we had leftovers to eat most of the days but I was already behind on laundry and I certainly have not had time to cook or wash clothes between everything else that's been going on.
It rained for 3 days in a row, melting all the snow that we already had on the ground and causing major flooding problems around the whole valley. Some roads are closed and some have been temporarily under water. People posted video of the creek taking over Rt 422 by the mall.
The church did very well. We usually have had problems with flooding during heavy rain but we did some upgrades to the gutters and the window wells and this week there was no leaking that we could find.
Did some extra hours this week in addition to my regular client hours. Went to the new house yesterday to wait for the plumber since Melissa and Joe both had to work. That took all morning, but now that's done.
Started pulling up the carpet in the living room and the floor under there is just as nice as in the bedrooms! It just needs cleaned and polished. But Joe and Melissa are doing one better by sanding and refinishing in ebony which will be stunning (especially with the freshly painted gray walls!) and modern.
It's sooo much work and we are all pushing ourselves, aching and fighting colds, but it will be so amazing when it's done!
