Just took our 4-H booth down now that the Trumbull County Fair is over!
The kids always have a great time planning, designing, creating, assembling, and entering it into the booth judging contest.
We highlighted our favorites from the year of exploring wind, exercise, healthy snacks, photography, chickens, first aid, and archery. We also introduced members to basic parliamentary procedure to run a 4-H meeting and the offices that help the club function: president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, health officer, safety officer, recreation officer, and historian. Our club is small with members who are young and new so we only had a few of these.
The members learned a lot, not just about the project topics, but about responsibility, commitment, leadership, and citizenship.
