Out with the Old, Try to Catch the New

Today we unhooked and removed our Old Furnace in preparation for installing the new one we bought. So if we get snow during this heat wave we're in trouble! We had to determine if it was 110 or 220 and shut off the correct circuit breaker in order to deal with the wiring. We had to cut the duct work loose and remove all the fittings from the air conditioner. We had to disconnect it from the floor. Then we had to carry that monstrosity up the cellar stairs. It was both heavy and awkward.

During all this we had several more visits from our rabbit buddies. Apparently someone in the neighborhood released his pet rabbits and we've been seeing them for about a month now. Some are browner and some are grayer. We knew right away they were not wild rabbits because of their large size and also because they are not very timid comparatively speaking.

So Melissa was over today and got it in her head to try to catch one or two or all of them and keep them as pets. Bryan got his hands on one but it finally got away to live free another day. But we are devising more strategic ways of catching them next time.
