Couch is No Longer Safe

First Wesley could be left laying at the back of the couch. Then he was dissatisfied unless he was sitting up and he would be safe and content sitting in the back corner. He has gotten so good at sitting that he can reach clear to the edge from the back, so we put pillows across the edge to prevent him from falling off.

Today I caught him reaching clear up and over the pillows and quite capable of

going right off despite the barrier. Well, no more safe zone there! I tried to get a picture of him doing it but couldn't catch it.

But he is so unhappy because he wants to be higher.

They Said Yes

So John Melissa decided to accept this baby. They talked and then she called the agency back and gave them the answer.

😯🤯😳🥴🤯😏

Here's what I think I remember about this situation.

The mom didn't know she was pregnant until 7 months along. The dad died unexpectedly from a stroke a few months ago. The mom has not told anyone in her life except a girlfriend. She had eclampsia toxemia and the baby was taken early. Since she hadn't had prenatal care they don't know exactly how far along gestation was. They are guessing 35 weeks. It's a boy. He was born yesterday so we could be picking up a baby in a matter of hours! 😯🤯

A Match!?!?!

Melissa got a call that a mom picked them to adopt their baby! I don't even know how to respond. I feel like my brain forgot how to think.
