More Kittens

Just saw three kittens romping through the bushes next to our house.  :/  We can guess what this means.  Apparently the stray cat that hangs out at our neighbor's house has had a litter again.  There have been a nearly continuous parade of babies over the months, maybe years.  We can't even be sure it's the same mother.  They don't own any cats, but they must feed the stray(s).  The only other reason we can think of is that they must love that little niche between our fence, their fence, and the lilac bush.  That's where they always hang out.  I love watching them play and climb our trees, but not too happy when they leave presents in our gravel.  They also agitate the dogs on the other side of us so they bark even more than they do otherwise.  It seems the cats actually taunt them.  I've seen them walk up and down the fence near the dogs until the dogs are just frantic, pulling at their chains and going crazy.  Just saying.  Who can fathom the mind of a cat?
