Things That Don't Go Bump in the Night

Last night it was almost me that went bump in the night. When I went to bed last night Bryan was finishing customizing a compound bow and apparently he had set it along the wall in the hallway when he went to bed.

I woke up in the middle of the night and had to go to the bathroom.  So I sleepily and without my glasses wandered down the hallway in the dark and my foot caught the bow case.  I almost took a header!  I don't know how I kept from falling--or peeing myself!

I guess the bow had slid down the wall until it was lying across the whole hallway instead of standing up along the edge.  It must have slipped and landed with a soft noise for us not to have heard  it.





What a way to wake up when you don't want to wake up yet!
