Sunday Service

 I really enjoyed the church service this morning. Our guest speaker cancelled due to injury so Vince stepped up to speak at the last minute. He arranged the sermon much differently than sermons usually are done. The scriptures that he used in the message were read aloud by various members of the congregation from wherever they happen to be sitting. It was a very moving effect to hear the scriptures read from all parts of the room all around you. It felt very intimate and personal and strengthened the connection with all the other believers there. Afterward we had a time of small group prayer right there in the sanctuary before dismissal. That was also very moving.  I am encouraged today!
