Without looking up the actual meteorological facts, I'd say normal temps for this time of the year would be 30's with several inches of snow on the ground which would either not melt off, be replaced constantly, or added to. However we have had clear ground for probably 3 weeks.
Last night there was a huge slow-moving intense cold front that moved over the state. Tons of thunder and heavy rain for several hours. Bryan had just gotten home from work and brought in everything left in the cars that need carried into the house. A few minutes more and he would have been drenched. Today is considerably cooler than it has been. I
t was 51 degrees when I got up and now it's 43. Most people are still saying March will come in like a lamb.
