Wind Storm

For the past 2 days, we have had very stormy weather.  Several hours of strong thunderstorms blew through and this morning a wind advisory finally ended, leaving chaos in their wake.  Several trees have blown down in the area and done some substantial damage to houses and tons of branches are littering yards everywhere.

Yesterday the sky was very dramatic.  It was so eye-catching that I stopped while I was driving down the road and pulled over to take a picture. 

Of course pictures never seem to do justice to what you see.  The sunlight was streaming behind and the storm clouds were rolling in front of me.

When Bryan got home last night he found several shingles in the yard and now in the daylight, we can see spots on the roof where shingles are missing and have slid down out of place.  Apparently, some weekend hours have been delegated for us!
