My Galobki

Galobki is the Polish name for the dish we call stuffed cabbage or cabbage rolls.  I absolutely love cabbage and so does my husband, but I almost never make galobki.  Why? It takes too long! (Translation, I'm lazy lol or maybe I'll go with too busy!)

Not long ago I suddenly remembered how my mother-in-law used to make a variation of it that she called "busy day cabbage." I thought, "Why am I not making this?"

So I looked up the recipe and made it for the first time in YEARS.  It turned out fantastic!

One thing I never cared for in the cabbage roll dishes I've had is there was never enough cabbage! The ratio of meat to cabbage was off to my liking. But doing it without actually rolling the cabbage leaves room for so much more.
