Things I Still Miss About My Old House

 I have moved quite a bit in my life. About 6 times, I think, before I was 10 and then about 8 more as an adult. I lived in my family home from 1975 until after college then moved around quite a bit getting settled before living in Howland for lmost 14 years.

The Howland location was ideal. Although the house left a little to be desired in size and age. If we were able to own it we could have made it a beautiful home.

I still miss how it was in the country and how it was set so far back from the road. I miss how the fields around it were open so I could see in all directions. I miss the big custom windows in the living room and kitchen. I miss the privacy and the security. I miss laying on my bed taking an afternoon nap with the window wide open beside me and the sun streaming in on me. I miss having the ability to park multiple cars and set up the camper to use as a outside room. I miss the space for a huge Garden.
