Game Night

I don't know when the last time was we spent an evening just playing games.

We played "would you rather " which Melissa hates and I don't care for much myself but Joe picked.

Bryan brought chess which we haven't played in years. I actually beat him.   I have no strategy really ay all--I just know how the pieces move! He captured 9 pieces and I only had 3 of his, then I saw a spot to sneak through and got his queen. It was really over at that point but he made me work for it! Twice I thought checkmate was imminent and he found a hole and I had to try to pin him down again, losing a few more pieces in the process. We played a decent game for being so rusty. I'm proud of us!

Then we started monopoly but decided to save it because it got too late. Of course everything took longer because we kept stopping to talk and losing our place in the game. 😊  So much fun and good bonding time.
