The women's conference is tomorrow. I took the day off work and spent all morning and afternoon setting up. The round tables were delivered from Aulusio's. They are all arranged and decorated and everything looks ready.
The theme is from Ephesians 4:14. It is called Strong in the Storm because our culture and our world are complex and confusing and there are so many false teachings out there. It is not hard to be confused or distracted so each presenter at the conference is explaining one of the essential doctrines of Christianity so that we know what to hold onto and what is not critical. We don't need to waste our time and strength arguing over things that are not necessary and we can stand strong when an actual assault comes our way.
Some volunteers had to back out so I'm a little unsure how things will go but I'm trusting they will work out even if everything is not as it's been planned.
