Sometime during the past year Bryan saw that someone was throwing away an artificial Christmas tree. Well we don't need a tree but he did grab the Christmas tree stand because it was the kind that rotates. That was cool and we have waited all this time to be able to use it.
So we put the tree into the new stand instead of the one we have always used and it turns nicely! So cool. However there is one problem: it must be taller than our regular stand because now the angel is crushed against the ceiling.
We have tried bending the branches down and everything we can think of but it still drags across the ceiling as it turns. bummer.
update: I still had our old angel topper and it is smaller than the new one. It also has a broken support frame and the lights don't work, but at least she's not bent down and scrapping the ceiling.
