It's that time of year again. Time to bake Christmas cookies!
I have always preferred fresh cookies instead of frozen so I have always baked my cookies a few days before Christmas. It's a lot of work in a short period of time, but so worth it.
This year, however, since Joe and Melissa should be closing on their new house next week, we might have to be moving during the days right before and after Christmas. So I decided to bake ahead of time so that there is more free time available when it will be most needed. We can eat thawed cookies for once.
Today I did chocolate chip. Tomorrow I can do Hershey kiss cookies (some people call them peanut butter blossoms, but I've heard that term used to describe other cookies, and this name seems less prone to be misunderstood!) if I pick up a bag of kisses.
