Ready For Nothing

Tomorrow is our last day of classes in our homeschool coop, and we are having a big party! All homework for the semester is due today and only a few morning classes will have full lessons.

After lunch, the festivities begin. The students get to show off their presentations, they will be videotaped, and some parents are coming. We are doing some fun activities and games and of course eating goodies between taking turns.

Lesson plans are done, festive outfit is washed and laid out, car is fueled and parked behind Bryan's , cards are signed, little gifts are wrapped, salad is made, Greek dessert is concocted, hummus is acquired, and then I see schools begin to close due to the snow storm.

Sure enough, ours cancelled also! So disappointing.

I'll be eating hummus and salad every meal to use this food up before it all spoils!

But I don't mind the down time. Christmas preparations and a movie sounds good. I haven't had a snow day for years!
