Date Night

It's been so hot all day cleaning in the house -- hot water for the floor, hot water for the dishes, air conditioning not working, scrubbing and cleaning. Bryan worked all day in the heat too. Factory is always hot, sweaty, stuffy.

So we decided to take a drive now that it's dark and has cooled down a bit. It's nice to get out into the country air. There's just something about being in the country. We can smell the hay in the air from the fields. So refreshing -- until we drove through an area where someone had hit a skunk and boy, was it fresh -- and pungent!

Stopped at Mosquito Lake Park.  So pretty to see the full moon reflecting off the water, boats out there with people fishing. We took a walk down along the spillway, talked with all the people fishing, reminisced about all the ones that got away over the years!

Stopped at Wendy's on the way home to get a Frosty. Yep -- that's how we roll.
